You are looking at a beautiful ladies Victorian 18 carat gold Opal and Diamond dress ring. The ring comes in the stunning marquise shape and is set with genuine Opals and Diamonds. There are 3 Opals set straight down the centre of the ring which are all individually set in their own claw mounts. The centre one being an oval cut and the other 2 round cut. They total approx 1 carat. The Opals are surrounded by a Diamond frame which consist of 20 antique rose cut Diamonds. The Diamonds are of I1 clarity and colour H and they have a total weight of approx 1 carat. Altogether all the genuine gemstones are set in a 18ct gold frame which measures 22mm by 11mm which leads onto beautiful split design shoulders. The ring weighs a nice 3.8 grams and it comes in a size Q. It is fully hallmarked 18 carat and dated 1896.
